CERTIFIED PAIN MANAGEMENT SPECIALIST
CERTIFIED STRESS MANAGEMENT SPECIALIST
The Natural Therapies Certification Board is pleased to offer three ways in
which you may become certified in Pain Management:
- Currently certified by NTCB or NBCB in biofeedback, or neurotherapy
or hypnotism
- Currently certified by BCIA or a nationally recognized hypnotism
certification board, or
- Previously certified by BCIA or a nationally recognized
certification board.
1. Currently certified by NTCB (or
NBCB).
The Natural Therapies Certification Board is offering three-year
concurrent certification as a Certified Pain Management Technician (CPMT) or Certified Pain
Management Specialist (CPMS) or a Certified Stress Management Specialist (CSMS)
or Certified Stress Management Technician (CSMT) for professionals meeting the following criteria:

If you are presently certified by NTCB as a technician in
biofeedback, neurotherapy or hypnotism, you may
obtain a concurrent CPMT or CSMT certificate for an additional $25.00 certification fee.

If you are presently certified by NTCB as a specialist in
biofeedback, neurotherapy or hypnotism, you may
obtain a concurrent CPMS or CSMS certificate for an additional $25.00 certification fee.

If you qualify above, you may obtain concurrent certification in both
pain management and stress management for $50.00 by submitting a completed
application.
If you meet any of the above requirements, please
print and complete the
Concurrent
Application and send it along with
your certification fee to the NTCB at the address listed above or you may
elect to pay using Credit Card.
2. Currently certified by BCIA or a
nationally recognized hypnotism certification board
The Natural Therapies Certification Board is offering three-year
certification as a Certified Pain
Management Specialist (CPMS) for professionals meeting the following criteria:

If you hold current BCIA certification in biofeedback or neurotherapy, you may obtain a CPMS for $150.00 for three years by submitting
a photocopy of your BCIA certificate for verification and a completed
application.

If you are currently certified by a nationally
recognized hypnotism certification board, you may obtain CPMS certification
for three years by submitting $150.00 with a photocopy of your certificate
for verification and a completed application.

If you qualify above, you may also become certified in both pain
management and stress management for $175.00 a year
If you meet any of these requirements, please
print and complete the Additional
Certification Application and send it with
your $150.00 certification fee to the NTCB at the address listed above or you may
elect to pay using
Credit Card
3. Previously certified by BCIA or a
nationally recognized hypnotism certification board

If you were previously certified by BCIA in biofeedback or neurotherapy, you may obtain a CPMS and reciprocal certification in
biofeedback or neurotherapy for $175.00 for three years by submitting a
photocopy of your previous BCIA certificate for verification and a completed
reciprocal application in
biofeedback or
neurotherapy. You may also elect to become certified in both
pain and stress management for $200.00 for three years.

If you were previously certified by a nationally
recognized hypnotism certification board, you may obtain CPMS certification and reciprocal hypnotism
certification for three years by submitting $200.00 with a photocopy of your
previous certificate for verification and a completed
reciprocal
hypnotist application. You may also elect to become certified
in both stress and pain management as a hypnotist for $225.00 every three
years.
