Requirements for Certification through NNCB

NNCB certifies qualified Nutrition Coaches and Nutritionists in the nursing field. We certify in accordance to strict industry standards, and in compliance with our professional code of ethical conduct.

Detailed blueprints for each certification may be found below. You can apply now for any of the certifications listed if you meet the blueprint requirements and you have sufficient training in one or more techniques relevant to the certification. Please contact us if you have any questions; we would be happy to help you determine which certifications best fit your qualifications, and whether you currently meet the blueprint for the certifications that interest you or whether you will need additional training to qualify.

Please note: only NTCW-approved instructors and programs are approved by NNCB to provide CEUs for the Professional Practices, Professional Ethics, Informed Consent Forms, and Coaching blueprint requirements. Moreover, due to changes in its programs, NTCW now requires that students take Professional Practices, Professional Ethics, and Informed Consent Forms as prerequisites for Coaching; therefore coaching can no longer be taken as a stand-alone class. Finally, those NTCW courses that are offered free of charge and do not carry CEUs do not fulfill NNCB blueprint requirements. Only those NTCW classes which carry CEUs qualify.
